In honor of Women's History month March 2012, MSEA has an outstanding STEM exhibit on display in the lobby of MSEA headquarters. This display is available for viewing Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Featured, as part of this exhibit are the "Women of Goddard" Space Center. A collaborative effort between "Women of Goddard" and the Maryland Women's Heritage Center brought the STEM exhibit to life

This exhibit features objects that highlight Clara Barton's role in the major social issues of her time, including civil rights for African Americans and the women's suffrage movement including Barton's ties to Frances Gage, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Frederick Douglass. Visitors will learn about her work with the Freedmen's Bureau (U.S. Government aid for distressed Americans of the Civil War), the Office of Missing Soldiers, the International Conference of Women, other women's groups.
