(March 9, 2022) Lisa Stearns’ mixed media art journals will inspire you to create a collection of your own memories. Her work is on display in the MWHC display window until the end of April. Join us on Saturday April 2, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for an artist reception.

“I think of my journals as art you can write on!” says Lisa. “I love combining stuff, especially upcycled items. My favorite finds have included paper napkins (snagged from a party), to the mesh bag that onions come in (an incredible shade of purple), to a variety of paints, ribbon, flowers (silk or real), buttons and more.”

Lisa will conduct a 30-minute workshop and share her techniques and inspirations. Admission to the MWHC venue and artist reception is free. There is a $5.00 fee for the artist workshop.

To apply to be a MWHC window artist, contact Diana M. Bailey, Executive Director at [email protected] or 443-695-3345. There is no fee to display. Every exhibit should have a connection to women in the arts, careers or a non-partisan social message.
